I chose the phrase ‘Mirrors are never to be trusted’ from the 2002 dark fantasy children’s novella, Coraline. Coraline follows the chilling tale of Coraline Jones, a little girl who finds a doorway to a sinister parallel other world inside her new home. Coraline must use her wits to rescue her family, and several lost children, from the evil force that exists behind that door.
